Investment advisers are required by law to inform their clients of their policies regarding the privacy of client information. At STUDIOi, LLC ("STUDIOi"), we uphold professional standards of confidentiality that exceed legal requirements. Federal law grants clients the right to limit some but not all sharing of personal information. It also mandates that we disclose how we collect, share, and protect your personal information.
Types of Nonpublic Personal Information (NPI) We Collect
We collect nonpublic personal information about you that is either provided to us by you or obtained by us with your authorization. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Banking Information
- Financial Account Numbers and Balances
- Sources of Income
- Credit Card Numbers or Information
- Other information necessary for financial planning and investment advisory services
If you are no longer our client, we may continue to share your information only as described in this notice.
How We Use and Share Your Information
All investment advisers may need to share client information as part of their everyday business operations. Below are the purposes for which we may share your personal information:
- For Everyday Business Purposes – Such as processing transactions, maintaining accounts, responding to court orders and legal investigations, or reporting to credit bureaus.
- For Our Marketing – To offer our products and services to you.
- For Joint Marketing – To promote financial products or services in collaboration with non-affiliated financial institutions.
- For Affiliates' Everyday Business Purposes – Including sharing information about your transactions and experiences and, where permitted by law, information about your creditworthiness.
- For Non-Affiliates' Marketing Purposes – To allow non-affiliated companies to market to you.
If you are a new client, we may begin sharing your information upon signing our agreement. When you are no longer our client, we may continue to share your information as described in this notice. However, you may contact us at any time to limit our sharing.
Protecting Your Confidential Information
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we implement security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include:
- Secure physical storage and restricted file access.
- Encryption of electronic records.
- Computer safeguards, including firewalls and two-factor authentication.
- Internal policies limiting access to client data strictly to authorized personnel.
Your Right to Limit Sharing (Opt-Out)
Federal law gives you the right to limit the sharing of your NPI in the following ways:
- Sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes related to your creditworthiness.
- Sharing with affiliates and non-affiliates for marketing purposes.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Operations
At STUDIOi, we integrate AI tools to enhance operational efficiency, research capabilities, and administrative tasks. However:
- AI is not used in portfolio management, investment decision-making, or client advisory services.
- Client-identifying data is never processed or used in any AI-powered functions.
How We Use AI:
- To assist with internal workflows (e.g., automating administrative tasks).
- To conduct market research and trend analysis (using anonymized, non-client-specific data).
- To enhance operational efficiencies (without handling client-identifying information).
How We Protect Your Privacy in AI Operations:
- AI-driven processes are strictly limited to non-client-identifying operational tasks.
- AI tools comply with industry-standard security protocols and are monitored to ensure compliance with STUDIOi’s privacy and ethical standards.
Data Security & Breach Notification
STUDIOi takes the protection of your personal information seriously. In the unlikely event of unauthorized access to or use of your personal information, we have policies and procedures in place to identify, contain, and mitigate any potential breach.
If a breach involving your sensitive personal data occurs, we will notify you within 30 days, as required by law.
Third-Party Service Providers
STUDIOi works with trusted service providers to assist in delivering financial services. We require these third parties to implement appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information. These providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of any data they receive from us.
Annual Privacy Notice
STUDIOi provides clients with our Privacy Policy at the time of engagement and, when required, on an annual basis. If there are no changes to our privacy practices and we do not share personal information in a manner that requires an opt-out, we may rely on the SEC’s exemption from the annual notice requirement.
Definitions
- Affiliates – Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
- Non-Affiliates – Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
- Joint Marketing – A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to clients.
Mobile Information & SMS Privacy
STUDIOi respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any information you provide when opting into SMS communications.
- Confidentiality of SMS Data: All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
- No Mobile Data Sharing for Marketing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
- How We Use SMS Communications: If you have opted into SMS notifications, we may send messages for administrative purposes, such as confirming appointments, requesting updates on action items, or reminding you to complete necessary steps (e.g., scheduling an appointment, updating your risk profile, or reviewing your financial AssetMap). STUDIOi will never request passwords, Social Security numbers, or confidential financial details via SMS. Additionally, we will not send investment recommendations or account-related balances through text messages.
- Opting Out of SMS: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message received. Standard message and data rates may apply.
